Hey guys. I'm doing some research on hosts to move to in June/July, and so far Hostony is looking my best bet. I've got a few questions, so if anyone feels like answering, thanks a lot!
1: Can I open an account (Special plan) and continue to have the main domain (and other domains) on my current registrar, changing only the nameserver details for the domain(s) and not transferring them to ISS?
2: Is GD (image creation plugin) installed for PHP?
3: Is register_globals switched on or off in PHP? Also safe mode.
Thanks in advance, and hope to spend quite a bit more time on this forum!

Yes, you can just switch name servers to ours.

OK. Is it possible to have it added to a plan which usually doesn't have it, at an extra charge?

Not hosted here yet, but the plan would be the Special plan.

If it will be Special what do you need other plan for?

What I meant was, could I have postgreSQL added to my Special plan, which wouldn't have it normally.

Special also has it.

MySQL & PostgreSQL space is located at your account's disk space, so you can manage it yourself as you need
