When I upload files it shows them as being there on the FTP. But if I use my browser to get to the file it gives me a error that it is not there. I made 100% sure the URL was right when I checked so I know that is not the problem. It does this if I creat new folders too. Everything uploaded before the RAID crash works and can be viewed. Please help! sad.gif

Tell me please what address do you use for FTP.
Also ping zeldaforums.com from your local computer and post the results here.

Waiting for you.
Zelda Master
FTP address: 209.152.178.152

I'm not sure what you mean by ping zeldaforums.com from your local computer?

Please use zeldaforums.com instead of 209.152.178.152 and all will be OK.
Your account was moved to the new (more powerfull and stable) server.
Your new link for control panel is http://67.15.24.22:2082 (insecure interface) and https://67.15.24.22:2083 (secure interface).

Your right all is ok, thanks! smile.gif

Not sure when this change happened, but it seems to have affected a few people. I was trying to upload a file recently, and while it showed up in the FTP it was absent in HTTP. After switching the FTP client it seems to be working now.

I'm having this same problem with any file I try to upload to any of my ADDON domain directories. Any file I upload does not show through HTTP.

The problem has existed for 2+ days now.

This problem does not exist for my main account directories only my ADDON domain directories seem to have the problem.

Please reference ticket #5470 to see my problem in more detail.

I actually did open a trouble ticket on it and recieved this response:

For http you have to create all subfolders in public_html/ directory for instance,

/public_html/files/
/public_html/downloads/
/public_html/models/
/public_html/character_models etc.

It was trouble ticket HS-5447 BTW.

Anyway, it is a minor issue for the most part. Once I switched from the IP address to the URL in the FTP client, the files which I uploaded (to the proper directory structure in the first place) showed up in HTTP clients.

Joe_Kutz :

Apparently you upload sites on one server and browse it form another server.
Please give asnwer me in trouble ticket
