I have successfully applied a .htaccess redirect after moving my files to a new location, everything works fine. I would like to be able to also use a redirect where

www.mysite.com/html

redirects to

www.mysite.com/HTML

I noticed that case sensitive directories bring up a 404 error and want to changes this. How do I do this? When I changed the .htaccess file to

Redirect /HTML http://www.mysite.com/gc01/HTML

Redirect /html http://www.mysite.com/gc01/HTML

I got a 500 error.

If the .htaccess file is just

Redirect /HTML http://www.mysite.com/gc01/HTML

everything works fine.

Thanks. Could you point out what I was doing wrong? I'd like to know for future reference.
