I uploaded a cgi script via Frontpage, cause when I tried logged into
my mcmurtrey.us domain via SmartFTP, the file structure is completely
different as well as the url path in the location bar.

Why do I see two complete different file structures when using different
programs SmartFTP and Frontpage?

When I type in mcmurtrey.us and log in SmartFTP
The location bar text switches to this url path?:
mcmurtrey.us/home/mcmurtre and when i change address
back to just mcmurtrey.us it will switch again to
mcmurtrey.us/home/mcmurtre as I log in.

In Frontpage I log in with mcmurtrey.us and see a complete
different file structure !

So is my mcmurtrey.us redirecting to some sort of subdomain of my
prof hosting account? Cause I'm totally confused cause I cant
figure out the cgi install paths....thanks
Alec
Please open a trouble ticket and tell me a login name and password for your ftp account

Mac, When you log in using frontpage you are "down a level" in your "public_html" folder.
In FTP you are logging in to the "user root directory" that has been assigned for you on the server. "Relativaty" brother, next time you log in via ftp look inside the public_html folder (or www, same place via shortcut) what you see inside there should be the same as what you see when logging in using frontpage.
Also frontpage hides certain files from you.

As for your script, support will help you with that.
