how long after I set up a database does it take to connect? I set up a database about 5-6 hours ago and i still can't access it. also, i'm using persistant connections ie. mysql_pconnect PHP functions, is this perhaps the reason i'm not able to access? i mean, it seems to connect to the database, (cause i'm not getting any errors about connection) but it won't display any info.

Nevermind! i forgot i had to add the user to the database... duh!
