I just signed up today for the 30 days trial.
One sad thing I found out is that each static IP cost $3.
hostforweb.com offers 10 IP address at only $5 a month, and their dedicated server is cheaper though bandwidth is lower by half. But additional 1GB is only $1.
For those that get a dedicated servers at fastservers.net, IP is sold at only $0.25 - that's probably the cost price.
These are all the high-end servers parked at equinix and other datacenters.
I think your add-ons are over-priced even though your primary package is slightly lower. So in the longer term, its still more costly to host with you.
But I have to commend you for not charging monthly fees for some of the add-ons... that is good. I can't stand some of the other hosts that charge monthly fees for additional Ram - I don't see the "why" there.

As i see hostforweb.com charges $50 extra for Cpanel and offers only 500 Gb bandwdith when we offer 1000Gb for $195/mo Special server and Cpanel is free.
It means that with all teh features we are offering their cheapest Celeron will cost $430 when our server costs just $195. To the top for web serving our server will perform about 1.5 times faster because of the more powerful CPU and cache.
Also we have 8 ips initially fro free with the server when they only 5. To the top our servers are all in private VLANs and our managed support covers wide range of packets. For example Java/Servelets we setup for free when they charge $50.
Also additional ip price you quote is for shared plan. I barely see why you may need many ips with a shared hosting plan to thne top using ips not for the services that cannot be run without ips is prohibited by ARIN.
The price of ips for dedicated servers is $1.5. To the top 8 free ips that come with a server are more than enough for web hosting nameservers, etc. We have only a few customers who bought additional ips.
As you see the real cost of hosting with us is much cheaper.
To the top we locate our servers at Internet atlanta facility. Internap is considered to be the top facility company in US. They think about redundacy five steps ahead of the customers. 2 balanced ethernet ports, 2 balanced power greeds, etc. I baraly saw something like that elsewhere.
