Alrighty, if one of you staffers would be so kind as to answer some questions for me, I'd be very thankful.

1. My site is currently hosted at Host4Ever, which I now find to be utterly worthless. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of having Host4Ever register my domain when I signed up for their hosting service. How can I get my domain transfered over to a Hostony hosting server?

2. If I get Hostony hosting, I will be moving a phpBB forum to it. Is it possible to move the phpBB database directly from my old server (note that my forum and my main website are on different hosts and domains completely) directly to my new Hostony server? Likewise, from looking at the demo control panel, I wouldn't want to only "Install phpBB Forum" as the control panel provides, sine my existing phpBB engine is highly customized. I will be allowed/able to upload my own phpBB, correct?

3. I'm not terribly competent about php permissions or whatever, but... will my php scrips be allowed to save images or whatnot to the server? (Example forum avatars and file attachments.)

4. After dealing with Host4Ever, I trust hosting companies... very little. Everything on your "Hosting Plans" page under the Profi et cetera columns DOES COME with the package automatically except the things under "Additional Services and Upgrades," correct? (With the "Additional Features" free but only added by request?)

5. I CAN install php scripts that allow others to host their images or files (without any charge to them, as in, I would host it for free, not profit), correct?

6. A sprite-based webcomic is "acceptable," correct?

I think that is all for now. Help would be appreciated.

Ok, here are my answers:

1. We are not a domain name registrar. We have just an reseller account on enom.com and register domains through them. Our price for registering or transferring a domain name is $14.85. So if you do want to transfer your domain to our registrar (I mean enom.com) then you have to be sure that your domain is not locked by current registrar (usually this option is named like "Allow this domain to be transferred to another registrar" and you can check it in your registrar's account).
If your domain name is not locked and can be transferred then we will make a request to your registrar (after receiving your payment for transfer) and domain will ne moved after your submittion.

2. There is only one simple way to transfer your database. If your old server is running CPanel control panel then we can use script for autoimatic coping of whole your account (using your account login and password). This script can copy all your files, databases and control panel settings.

If your old server is running another control panel then we have to go another way. You need to make dump of your database. It can be done by yourself if you have ssh access to the server or you can ask somebody from support to do it for you. Then I can upload this database dump via FTP or HTTP directly to our serever and load into your database.

And, of course, you don't have to use our phpBB forum. Nobody denies you to upload your own.

3. Everything is ok with our php permissions, don't be afraid about this

4. Typical account doesn't need all features listed in our plans. So usually we don't enable all of them to prevent useless server load. Sure, if you find that something is not enable for your account but you need it then you ask us and we enable it immediately.

And you will get all listed in our plans for free. There is no any hidden charges. You have to pay only for additional services, not listed in our plans.

5. Yes, you can install php scripts of others in your account. I don't see any problem with it.

6. Sorry, I don't understand exactly what do you mean under "A sprite-based webcomic"

By "sprite based web comic," I mean an online comic strip that I manage which deals with video game characters. It's not illegal under the Fair Use Act, but I didn't want to be presumptuous.

The only way we can deny you to host some video, images or other files is if they are illegal, or include porno, hate matirials etc. But you can better read it in our AUP (http://www.hostony.com/terms.html)
