I went to setup webmail for people using my server so they can access it without having to login to the cPanel X
before i had it set as webmail.host.com but that doesn't seem to work anymore(i had some server changes)
Do i have to get in touch with hostony to do this?
I know it comes standard in Windows , what about Linux?

Thx

Hope it's not posted somewhere I did search a bit

Now you need to go to http://yourdomainname.com:2095 or http://yourdomainname.com/webmail and it will work.

Lets say the people using the webmail don't like having to choose between the 3 different variety's of webmail programs. Is there a way to disable for instance NeoMail and Squirrel so people only see Horde?

Also is setting up just a html Login to people's webmail hard? Is there scripts out there for that. I want to make it as easy as possible for these people.

i have a quite similiar question as the above. i current had purchase the win hosting. i personally i don't like the UebiMiau! interface and the function as well. So do i have the option to run a web mail that will let the user register on site, (withouth entering to the CP) and they even could change their password on site. Is that possible i setting up, a webmail myself ? if yes is there any good recommendation webmail ?

RE: Is there a way to disable for instance NeoMail and Squirrel so people only see Horde?

You can setup a subdomain like email.yourdomain.com or just a sub-directory of your main site like yourdomain.com/email and redirect it to the url of the login page for any of the 3 webmail clients. It will then prompt for the username and password. I have done this for squirrelmail, and it works fine.

so horde would be:

http://yourdomain.com:2095/horde/index.php

Unfortunately, because of the way horde is set up, you'll get two login pages, but the second you can just click through...
