Greetings,
trying to get outbound email working using my domain following the instructions using smtp server mail.depewwildcats.com

It keeps asking for username and password, I'm using the same username and password as I am to download POP mail in the same exact mail client, so it ought to work w/ the "+" in there, yet the smtp server doesn't like that same username and password. I'm using password type authentication for SMTP.

The password type authentication works for me for another mail service, mac.com, using password authentication.

Please advise?

Please use depewwildcats.com as your SMTP server.
Also don't use a "+" in your username. Just use @ instead of it.

Worked, thanks.. might I suggest updating the text @ the bottom of the accounts to reflect those changes. THe + works in the pop mail username, so I just assummed (and we know where that gets you).

No, use @, not +
